1 Chapter a Day’s take
Don’t even swear ‘By my head!’ for you can’t turn one hair white or black. Say just a simple ‘Yes, I will’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Your word is enough. To strengthen your promise with a vow shows that something is wrong. Verses 36 & 37
By nature, I tend to over promise and under deliver. I have good motives and big goals. These verses remind me that regardless of my goals, don’t brag or talk about what I “intend” to do. Just do it.
