13 So the Lord God asked the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “It was the serpent. He deceived me, and I ate.”
Adam had just blamed Eve for giving him some fruit from the tree God told them not to eat from, and then Eve blamed the serpent, Neither one of them was truthful to God–or themselves. Do you blame other people or circumstances for your mistakes, or do you take responsibility for your actions?
