God delights in those who keep their promises and abhors those who don’t. Verse 22
Ouch. I don’t often promise to do anything, but I often say I intend to do something…and then I don’t do it. Though it was not a promise from my perspective, it is often perceived as a promise from the opposite perspective. Suggestion to self: don’t announce what you are going to do. Just do it. Let your actions speak for themselves.
