…the Pharisees, will never eat until they have sprinkled their arms to the elbows,as required by their ancient traditions. Verse 3
Not sure this qualifies as “stupid” but it certainly is ridiculous. There is no purpose in washing your arms up to the elbows every time you eat…unless you regularly put your elbows in your food. The Pharisees were doing something for no reason except tradition. Many modern day Christians do things for no other reason except tradition. As a result, many won’t find Jesus.
Now time for a Snicker Bar…right after I wash my elbows
