With that kind of hope to excite us, nothing holds us back. Verse 12
Paul was excited and energized. He felt unstoppable. Why? The previous verses we learn that Paul (and all Christ-followers) has transitioned from a Government of Death to a Government of the Living Spirit! He restates it another way by saying he has transitioned from a Government of Condemnation to a Government of Affirmation!
This excites and energizes me. I have a tendency to be self-condemning. But Christ changes that. In Christ, I am now under a new government…the Government of Affirmation!
