That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest. Verses 26 & 27
Are you too cautious with God’s money? Though He does not want you to be stupid with it, He does want you to manage it and invest it well. This will include some reasonable risk.
Don’t be like the third man in the story who refused to take any risk with God’s money. He was the only one who was reprimanded.
