1 Chapter a Day’s take
Distress that drives us to God does that. It turns us around. It gets us back in the way of salvation. We never regret that kind of pain. But those who let distress drive them away from God are full of regrets, end up on a deathbed of regrets. Verse 10
How to you respond when distressed? The options are:
- turn to God for help and trust him in spite of your circumstances
- turn away from God because you are angry with him (because he could have prevented this)
This chapter teaches us to choose the first option.
