Depression in the Old Testament? — 1 Kings 19 — 10.15.12

1 Chapter a Day’s take

One chapter after Elijah has a great victory, he is in a state of “depression.” He took his eyes off of God. He refocused on people who were out to get him and was paralyzed with fear.

People are vulnerable following great victories. We must be intentional after each life victory to remember that God provided the victory and we must keep our focus on him and continually give him the glory.
