If you were in my shoes,
I could talk just like you.
I could put together a terrific harangue
and really let you have it.
But I’d never do that. I’d console and comfort,
make things better, not worse! Verses 3-5
In these verses, Job models “The Golden Rule,” which isn’t formally introduced until the New Testament. How about you? Do you “do unto others as you would have them do unto you?” Or do you do unto others what they have done to you?
