Cynics look high and low for wisdom—and never find it… Verse 6
In addition to failing to find wisdom, cynicism doesn’t help you or anyone else. Cynicism is defined as: “1. Believing that people are motivated by self-interest; distrustful of human sincerity or integrity. 2. Doubtful as to whether something will happen or is worthwhile.” Stop being cynical.
On the other hand, being skeptical is acceptable. Skepticism is questioning attitude towards knowledge, facts, or opinions/beliefs stated as facts. Do your due diligence, and then choose a positive outlook on life
