In verse 25 we see that David did exactly what God told him.
A study of David’s life reveals that God spoke to him often. How would you like God to speak to you often? The key to hearing from God often is to do exactly what God tells you, immediately upon experiencing his prompting. If you take short cuts after God speaks to you…or if you delegate something that God told YOU to do to someone else…or if you do most of what God prompted you, but just not exactly…then God can’t trust your character when he gives you direction. This leads to hearing his promptings less and less.
But, if you, like David do exactly what God tells you to do. God can trust your character. You will become his “go to” guy or gal. Ask God to speak to you today. Do exactly what he prompts you to do. In the comment section below, let us know how this goes for you.
