1 Chapter a Day’s take:
Verse 11 says…I’ve told you these things for a purpose: that my joy might be your joy, and your joy wholly mature.
Jesus wants us to experience joy! He does not want us to experience a life of misery. But this joy is contingent on knowing his teachings. This is just another reason to read the Bible everyday. Glad to have you on board.
