1 Chapter a Day’s take
The wicked are edgy with guilt, ready to run off even when no one’s after them; Honest people are relaxed and confident, bold as lions. Verse 1.
This verse gives us one of many benefits of honesty. Honesty results in relaxed confidence. Dishonesty results in fear that others will find out. And even if no one ever finds out, the fear that you live with robs you of joy. Though every person (except Jesus) has had moments of dishonesty, today is a great day to consider the value of living an honest life…and to make a fresh commitment to honesty. You will be glad you did!
