1 Chapter a Day’s take:
In this chapter, Moses and Aaron do a miracle that the magicians could not reproduce. The magicians tell Pharaoh that this is God’s doing. Verse 19
Prior to this, the magicians had performed “magic” so it would look like they had the same power as Moses and Aaron. But, the truth eventually came out. The God of Aaron and Moses is the one and only, all powerful, and true God!
The world often attempts to convince us there is no God or that what they have to offer is as good as what God has to offer. Don’t fall for it! The truth always comes out. And God wins. Stay loyal to him even when what the world offers looks attractive.
