1 Chapter a Day’s take
Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run; hurry and scurry puts you further behind. Verse 5
This reminds me of a great booklet I read many years ago called The Tyranny of the Urgent by Charles Hummel. I still remember a truth from this booklet: “A minute spent in planning saves 3 or 4 minutes in execution.” Though less specific, the Bible has been saying the same thing for years. The Bible teaches that we should plan. Just pray for God’s direction as you plan. Then stay faithful to the plan unless you are convinced that God is re-directing you.
