But if you stay in me and obey my commands, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! Verse 7
It really is true that God will grant you any request you like…so long as you “stay in Him and obey His commands.” Just a heads up: “stay in Him” means to submit to him, and allow Him to control you by His Holy Spirit. “Obey His commands” is self explanatory. If you do these things, God will influence your desires so you will not even desire things that are unbiblical, illegal, unethical, or immoral.
