Jesus shrugged it off. Every tree that wasn’t planted by my Father in heaven will be pulled up by its roots. Forget them. Verse 13
What does Jesus have in common with CeeLo Green (other than Jesus can probably sing)? They both knew when to say “Forget you.” In this chapter, Jesus is talking about the Pharisees. They were “religious” but their hearts were far from God. Jesus instructed his disciples to “forget them.” In other words “don’t waste your energy on them. They have already made up their minds and it would be a waste of time to waste time attempting to getting them to change their minds.”
