1 Chapter a Day’s take
Jesus was preparing to take a test that would be given by the Devil. Jesus made a 100! He prepared by fasting (going without food, but consuming all the water he wanted) and praying. Though Jesus was hungry, his preparation empowered him to ace the hardest test the Devil could give.
When you are being tested or tempted by the Devil or his agents of evil, do you usually make a 100 on the test? If not, you may want to consider fasting and praying as your preparation strategy. You don’t have to fast for 40 days to receive transformational empowerment from God.
