1 Chapter a Day’s take
Christ offered himself as an unblemished sacrifice, freeing us from all those dead-end efforts to make ourselves respectable, so that we can live all out for God. Verse 15
Have you ever tried to make yourself look respectable (or worthy) to Christ or to others? I have. That is a dead end effort…a waste of energy! Christ died so we wouldn’t have to do that. We can now live all out for God without worrying what anyone thinks of us. We need not impress others or attempt to make ourselves look respectable.
