1 Chapter a Day’s take
Still, I know that God lives—the One who gives me back my life—
and eventually he’ll take his stand on earth.
And I’ll see him—even though I get skinned alive!—
see God myself, with my very own eyes.
Oh, how I long for that day! Verses 24 — 27
I am amazed that Job still longs for the day when he sees his God. On the one hand, Job is aware that God could have prevented all the bad that had come into his life. Yet, down deep, Job still trusted God and longed to be with him. Go Job!
