Honest, Immediate Response — Job 12 — 02.08.13

by Bruce on February 8, 2013

1 Chapter a Day’s take

After Zophar’s advice, Job spoke up. He was not going to remain silent when his “friend” was off base in his evaluation of Job’s condition. If someone is off base in their evaluation of your life…tell them. Don’t bite your lip. Speak up. Don’t allow others to believe untrue things about you. But speak up immediately. To delay this conversation will cause further misunderstandings. Warning: if you are angry with someone, you may need to step away and cool down before your response. But don’t delay for long.
