1 Chapter a Day’s take
When Samuel was preparing to introduce Saul as King of the Israelites, he could not find him. God revealed that Saul was hiding in a pile of baggage. Moral of the story: when God calls you to do something big, you may experience fear. But feel the fear and do it anyway! Do not let fear stop you!
Following Saul’s introduction as King, some people refused to congratulate him. They held him in contempt and mocked him. We then see one of the necessary ingredients to being a successful leader. Saul paid them no mind. Verse 27
