1 Chapter a Day’s take
The fear of human opinion disables; trusting in God protects you from that. Verse 25
Have you ever known a “people pleaser?” A people pleaser fears disapproval, fears rejection, and avoids conflict at all cost. Living like this robs you of confidence and joy. The way to overcome this is simply trusting in God.
There will be times when God prompts you to do something. But your “intuition” reminds you that “obeying him might ‘offend’ someone.” When you find yourself in this situation, obey God…every time! You may indeed offend someone, but you are no longer in handcuffs by the fear of what others might think or do. Your confidence will soar. You have overcome fear, and more. Just Trust God — Then Do It!
