1 Chapter a Day’s take
When you put us through the fire to purge us from our sin, our dearest idols go up in smoke. Verse 10
Are you experiencing trials? God wants to use them to purge us from sin — to show us what is really important, and what is not so important. Though trials can be extremely difficult (King David who wrote this chapter seems to almost be suicidal due to his trials), be sure to ask God “What are you trying to teach me in this trial?” Demonstrate to God that your spiritual growth is more important than your comfort and convenience. He will bless you big time!
Note: I am preaching to myself today. I am not good at this, but am growing.
