Proverbs 19:16…Keep the rules and keep your life: careless living kills.
For the first 25 years of my life, I was somewhat legalistic. Then I began to discover GRACE…and it is AMAZING! (Someone should compose a song about amazing grace…LOL)!
However, after experiencing “grace”, I allowed the pendulum to swing too far. Grace was never intended by God to be an excuse for careless living. I will memorize this verse this week and discuss it with my family. We will still live with a grace orientation, but we refuse to live carelessly!
