1 Chapter a Day’s take
And he believed! Believed God! God declared him “Set-Right-with-God.” (Verse 6)
An amazing thing happens in verse 6. Abram and his wife Sarai are beyond childbearing years. Plus Sarai is barren and Abram is impotent. Yet God promised them they would have a son and that a great nation would be born through them. It would be easy to doubt…but Abram believed! He really believed! And because of his belief (faith), God declared him “Set-Right-with-God.”
God…I believe! And I trust that because of my belief I am “Set-Right-with-You.” I know I don’t deserve this. But I am THANKFUL for it! And if doubts ever creep back in, please help me to slay the doubts and believe stronger than ever!
