1 Chapter a Day’s Take
David has symptoms of depression:
- “tired of rebuke”
- “weak”
- “agony and emotional pain”
- “sick at heart”
In verses 8-10 he:
- separates himself from those who bring him down
- acknowledges that God cares and hears his cry
- speaks what he wants to occur as if it is already true (“my enemies disappear, disgraced they turn tail and run”…verse 10 TM)
