Psalm 4…David Cries Out To God For Help
The goal of 1 Chapter a Day is not to fill your brain with content. But, rather to look for God to drop a “nugget of truth” into your heart from each reading. This should be something you can apply to your life. The Bible is not simply a book to be learned…it is a book to be lived!
1 Chapter a Day’s take on Psalm 4
We will pick up the story of Joseph on Monday. On the weekends, we read Psalms together. Chapters from Psalms help us to deal with our feelings and prepare for worship on Sunday.
Verse 8 says, “For you, God, have put my life back together.” Take solace in this! God specializes in putting people’s lives back together. Lord, God…I need this. Please put my life back together!
