Genesis 37…Joseph is Sold into Slavery
The goal of 1 Chapter a Day is not to fill your brain with content. But, rather to look for God to drop a “nugget of truth” into your heart from each reading. This should be something you can apply to your life. The Bible is not simply a book to be learned…it is a book to be lived!
1 Chapter a Day’s take on Genesis 37
Though Joseph had done nothing wrong, he was horribly mistreated by his brothers. But the way he responds to recurring mistreatment in this story serves as a GREAT example for us. We are all mistreated in life. Though we can’t change that, we can choose how to respond. I am excited to see the mature, God honoring response of Joseph as we continue to read his story throughout the rest of this week.
