Hey Team!

Ed Stetzer, President of Lifeway Research said in an interview with http://www.churchleaders.com: “For Christians as a whole, we have research that shows the correlation between spiritual maturity and reading the Bible. In Brad Waggoner’s book ‘The Shape of Faith to Come,’ which is based on a LifeWay Research study, we found that reading the Bible was the best predictor of spiritual maturity. In other words, if you were in the Bible, you were growing spiritually.”

I am burdened for people who want to read the Bible daily but fail. They have challenges such as:

  • lack of consistency
  • inability to understand what they are reading
  • wondering where to start
  • what version to read from
  • how much to read
  • confusion about what the results of daily Bible reading “should” be
  • feeling that they are not getting anything out of the reading
  • and more!

What other challenges have you heard people speak of when expressing difficulty with daily Bible reading? Enter your answers in the “Comments” section below.

Thanks again for going on this 15 day Bible reading journey and offering feedback. Your efforts will result in changed lives!
