1 Chapter a Day’s take

1Now Joseph had been taken to Egypt. An Egyptian named Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and the captain of the guard, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had brought him there. The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, serving in the household of his Egyptian master.

Joseph was sold by his brothers and then sold as a slave in Egypt. But he did something amazing–he continued to trust in God. He didn’t gripe and complain about what had happened to him. Instead, he did a good job of serving his master. Do people around you notice that you always trust God–no matter the circumstances? Do you work hard for your boss? Be like Joseph and trust God no matter the circumstances.
