1 Chapter a Day’s take
The man who is often reproved but refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be broken and never have another chance. Verse 1
Are you often reproved? There is a reason for that. Listen and learn! Embrace constructive criticism!
The greatest leader I have ever known is Mike McGown. He is my boss and the pastor of Parkway Fellowship (one of the fastest growing churches in America for 4 consecutive years). He insists on preaching a “Run Through” sermon each week to our church staff, prior to preaching it to the church on Sunday mornings. He then invites constructive criticism so he can make adjustments to the sermon so it can the sharpest tool possible for God to use to reach as many people as possible. I do not know of any pastor in America who does this. He understands the value of constructive criticism. He is willing to humble himself to staff members who are beneath him on the “Organizational Chart.” Sometimes, he even takes recommendations from me 
What about you? Are you willing to receive constructive criticism from those who are “beneath you?” Humility is essential to succeeding God’s way!
