A dry crust eaten in peace is better than steak every day along with argument and strife. Verse 1
I have a friend that quit a good paying job to take a job that offered half the salary. Why? Because of the truth of the above verse. Is it time to change jobs?
FYI: you can’t use the truth in this verse to justify divorcing your spouse…even if you experience lots of argument and strife. The reason: the Bible teaches that divorce is not an option that pleases God. So if your marriage is on the rocks, get good Christian counseling and make it work.
