1 Chapter a Day’s take
Job had a friend named Eliphaz. Eliphaz begins this chapter by reminding Job of how much of an encourager Job has been to so many people. It appears that Eliphaz is going to now encourage Job. But, no. He begins to say that Job’s problems were self inflicted. You and I know Job’s problems were not his fault. So now, innocent Job, is suffering even more due to a “friends” hurtful words.
When you have a friend in pain, do you discourage them or encourage them?
