1 Chapter a Day’s take

…the disciples came to Jesus asking, “Who gets the highest rank in God’s kingdom?” Verse 1

The disciples of Jesus were just normal people like you and me. In this verse, they were concerned about winning the “Champion Disciple” award. Jesus reminds them that being great in God’s kingdom requires one to have simple faith like a child. Do you make the Christian life complex? If so, it is time to go back to simple, childlike faith!

I remember going on many vacations with my family when I was a kid. Not once did I wonder if my dad got enough money for the trip. I did not worry about if he had a map to where we were going. I was not concerned that we might not have a place to stay. I just knew that dad took care of those things. I was free to enjoy the vacation.

Do you trust God like that? He wants you to trust him. He will never fail you!
