1 Chapter a Day’s take
In verse 1, Paul describes a “huge sorrow that he carries with him at all times.” He called it “an enormous pain, deep within him, that he is never free of.”
What is it that causes him such consistent agony? His heart is broken because his people, the Israelites, have rejected Christ. Does your heart break for those who do not know Christ? Maybe it should. Make a short list of your family and friends who do not know Christ. Pray for them today.
