1 Chapter a Day’s take:
I love the first verse where Hannah is rejoicing because of the blessing of God. In chapter 1, she was mourning because she could not have children. Now, she is on Cloud 9 because God has answered her prayer! I love how The Message translation describes this.
Hanna was:
- bursting with God-news!
- walking on air
- laughing at her rivals
- dancing in her salvation
What an honor to serve a God who answers prayer like that!!
