1 Chapter a Day’s take
And everything you give me, I’ll return a tenth to you. Verse 22
And everything you give me suggests that Jacob knew that God owned everything. And anything he received would be a gift from God. Additionally, it seemed like an almost natural response to give God back a portion of what God had given him. “Lord, help me to acknowledge that all good things come from you. And help me to grow in generosity toward you all my days.”
