1 Chapter a Day’s Take
In the first 8 verses, the concept of “life-change” is addressed four times (in The Message):
- Verse 4- John the Baptizer was…preaching a baptism of life-change…
- Verse 5- baptized…into a changed life…
- Verse 7- the star in this drama… will change your life…
- Verse 8-the Holy Spirit–will change you from the inside out.
I am grateful that God loves me just like I am! I am also grateful that God loves me too much to leave me just like I am! In some areas, life change can be made by my choice. In other areas, life change can only come about as a result of God working in me through his Holy Spirit! But regardless of how life change happens, God gets the glory!
